Green Tea is thought to have originated in China from as far back as 2737BC
Legend has it that the discovery happened by accident when the Chinese Emperor 'Shennong' mistakenly drank water that had a dead leaf boiled in it.
The leaf came from an evergreen shrub known as 'Camellia Sinensis'
